HBN: Online Availability (“the App”) helps Shopify merchants diagnose static product availability configuration for the Online Store.

Information we process

We process store identity, installation and authentication information; merchant-created audit policies, exclusions, and intent confirmations; product, variant, publication, market, inventory, location, and shipping configuration needed for an audit; scan summaries and repair records; and limited diagnostic and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

The App does not request or use customer records, orders, carts, checkout contents, payment data, storefront behavior tracking, or theme content. Detailed scan findings remain in the merchant’s browser; the service stores compact summaries rather than a copy of the merchant’s catalog or inventory quantities.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide audits and repairs requested by merchants, authenticate access, determine the active Shopify-managed plan, maintain service reliability and security, and provide merchant support.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by service providers that support platform operation, hosting, data storage, service reliability, and merchant support. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only while needed to provide, protect, and support the App. Pro scan summaries and repair logs are limited to a rolling 30-day window. On uninstall, active sessions and merchant configuration are deleted in response to Shopify’s uninstall and compliance processes. Legal or security obligations may require limited records to be retained longer.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted transport, least-privilege permissions, secret management, input validation, and separated development and production environments. Service providers may process information in countries other than the merchant’s country, subject to appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Merchants can edit or remove policies and clear browser-held scan data. Privacy and deletion requests can be submitted through our support center. We will verify the requesting store before acting.

Children

The App is a business service for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision.
